Rockies Farm Market Youth Group

With the opportunity of working with Surrey’s Rockies Farm Market, and with its Market Coordinator Jennifer Chen, FunforGOal has had the chance to gather a group of youth to assist the building of the Rockies Farm Market in early 2021. Even during pandemic, the Rockies Farm Market youth group adapted to the changing environment and thrived under challenge situations. They were assigned to working on different fields:
  • Social media marketing
  • Vendor recruiters
  • Data collection, survey making
  • Data analyzing

Once a week, the youth group meets online with Jennifer and a coordinator from FunforGOal Foundation to discuss the progress and brainstorming ideas on promoting the market.

Although this project ended prematurely, what an amazing career-life experience for this group of youth. Learning that life is never perfect nor smooth or clear cut, what is important is how you interpret life’s adversities.
