ABOUT: Focus on supporting youth-lead initiatives, age 15-29, in small and mid-sized communities.

 

RBC Future Launch Scholarship 

ABOUT: For Canadian citizens or permanent residence youth between 15-29 years old, enrolled part time or not in school at all. The amount is $1,500, can be used for short-term courses, workshops, certificates or equipment etc. Apply online!

 

Acadium Apprenticeships & Scholarship 

ABOUT: You learn real-world digital marketing through one-on-one mentorships with verified businesses. Attend apprenticeships, work in digital marketing field, and apply for scholarship ($ 5,000), must be 16 years old and a resident of Canada.

 

BC International Student Ambassador Scholarship 

ABOUT: K-12 students, must be nominated by a B.C. school district, independent school or B.C.-certified offshore school. Amount is $1,250.

 

Future Science Leaders, Vancouver

ABOUT: Future Science Leaders (FSL) is an after-school science enrichment program for teens by Science World. This can be a multi-year program. All prospective students apply to the first-year program called Discover.

 

SHAD CANADA, Ontario

ABOUT: Students completing Gr. 10 or 11, spend 27-days at a Canadian university in seminars, labs and hands-on learning. Earn IB credits and Saskatchewan school credit.

 

Science Fair, Canada (nation wide)

ABOUT: Enable students to progress with their projects from the classroom, school, district fairs to regional, national and international competitions. Also include different scholarship applications.

 

BC – Quebec Exchange Program 

ABOUT: The B.C.-Quebec Exchange Program is open to French Immersion and Francophone program students in grades 10 and 11. Students must apply in Grade 9 or 10 to go on exchange in Grade 10 or 11, the following year. It is free to participate.

 

BCIT – ITA

ABOUT: Dual credit programs allow students who have a keen interest in trades or technical programs to start their training in grade 11 or 12 and if they successfully complete a program earn a BCIT Trades credential, high school credits, and credits from the Industry Training Authority (ITA).
